We are delighted to announce several new hires to our executive team: Melissa Stringer as Chief Product Officer, Charlie Tighe joins us as Chief Financial Officer, and Victoria Perez as Head of Compliance in Gibraltar.

Melissa Stringer joins Orbital as Chief Product Officer to help enhance our product suite, which will enable a more streamlined and slick customer experience and go-to-market strategy. She brings more than 15 years of experience in fintech, focused on product strategy, development and innovation, leading client engagements for 11:FS, and consulting through her own company for Hyphen Group, Capital Economics, and Equals PLC.

On her new appointment, Melissa says “I look forward to working with our talented team to delevop a category-defining product suite for modern treasury management. We have a rather unique opportunity in the market, the timing is right, and we have the rich payment, execution and tech capabilities to attract industry leading partners, and many new clients!”

Also joining the team is Charlie Tighe, who brings more than 15 years experience, made up largely of fintech roles including at Checkout.com WorldPay and Sendwave/WorldRemit. Having worked with businesses at a similar life cycle stage, entering periods of spectacular growth, Charlie is perfectly positioned to help establish our strategic direction, and strengthen and drive our mission to disrupt and revolutionise corporate financial services.

Finally, from our Gibraltar office we have Victoria Perez joining as our Gibraltar Head of Compliance. Victoria brings over 30 years experience in financial and regulated services including at Dexia, Barclays Wealth, Vista Fund Services and Cornwalls Lane. Following regulatory approval, Victoria will assume the role of MLRO in Gibraltar.
